Q.I am on Azithromycin and am having some difficulty getting up. My doctor prescribed Zithromax and was concerned that I was getting an infection. I contacted my doctor and the doc said the infection was from the Zithromax. She agreed and prescribed Zithromax for me. I have not had any side effects and it was a very uncomfortable antibiotic. I am currently on Zithromax, however, I am currently on an antibiotic, Zithromax and I have been taking it for a few weeks and the infection has stopped. I am also on Zithromax and have stopped taking it, so I am wondering if anyone else has had an infection with this antibiotic? I have been on Zithromax for almost 2 weeks, and am currently taking it for a few days. I have also taken an antibiotic and am on the treatment for several days and am wondering if it is the Zithromax. Does anyone else have this same condition and would it be something else that could help? Thank you for any input!
